Vision behind the event

Make Room for Vision is the vision of Paul Edwards. As well as having his own software and website development business Datastore Computing Ltd, Paul also runs Essex Business Network for Christians. He is a passionate believer in the need for Christians to run their business in such a way as to be successful and to support the work of God, both by financial and practical means. Paul is also on the leadership team of the Church @ Swan Mead where he is involved in management and runs all technology in the church.

The vision for the day is that business people will receive a new vision from God for their business and will go away and put into action changes to their business that will make a difference both to their business and those they come into contact with it. Taking further the idea of God wishing to give a vision for business, God also wants to give a vision for the success to be used to support the work of God.

As a regular business networker, Paul sees the advantage of getting to know other business owners to create more business leads. He started the Christian division of Essex Business Netowrk as way to get Christians to support each other's business. In this way they are in effect supporting the work of God by using other Christian businesses that support the work of God. All attendees on the day will be encouraged to get to know as many as people as possible, so creating more opportunities for kingdom business.
